When your skin is stretching too

You've probably noticed it. Your belly feels tight by the end of the day. It gets dry. Sometimes it itches, usually right when you're trying to fall asleep.

That's a lot of change for your skin in a few short months.

A little oil after your shower may help it feel soft and comfortable again. Many moms make it part of their night.

Nothing questionable on your skin

When you're pregnant, you start reading every label. We get it.

Coconut Baby has three ingredients, and you can read all of them in a few seconds. No mineral oil. No added fragrance. Nothing you need to look up.

What's in the jar

Organic coconut oilCold-pressed. The base of the blend. Firm when cool, it melts in warm hands.
Organic sunflower oilHelps it spread easily.
Organic grape seed oilA light oil that rounds out the blend.

Just three oils, blended together. Allergic or sensitive to any of these oils? Please skip it.

How moms use it

Takes about a minute after your shower.

  1. After your shower. Pat dry and leave your skin a little damp.
  2. Warm a little in your hands. Scoop a small amount and rub it between your palms until it melts.
  3. Smooth it on. Use slow, light strokes over your belly, hips and thighs. Take a minute for yourself while you do it.
  4. Save what's left. Once your baby is here, whatever's left on your hands can go on baby's arms and legs.

Label directions: “Apply as often and as much as desired to hair or skin”. Try a small area first, and stop if you see redness or irritation.

Keep it simple to store

Store at room temperature. In a cool room it turns firm. In a warm room it softens or melts. Both are normal. It's the same oil either way.

The same jar for your baby

You won't need a new product when your baby arrives. Coconut Baby is the same jar many parents use on their baby's dry skin and scalp. One jar on the changing table, one less thing to buy.

Questions moms ask

Can I use Coconut Baby on my belly during pregnancy?

Many moms use it as an everyday moisturizer when their belly skin feels dry and tight. Pregnant or nursing? Check with your doctor or midwife before using any new skin product.

Will it help with stretch marks?

No oil can promise to prevent or fade stretch marks, and we don't. Coconut Baby is a moisturizer. Moms use it to keep dry, tight belly skin soft.

My belly itches at night. Can I use it then?

Yes. Many moms smooth a little on before bed when their skin feels dry. It may help soothe dry, tight-feeling skin. If the itching is strong or won't go away, talk to your doctor or midwife.

How do I use it?

The label says to apply as often and as much as desired to hair or skin. Many moms use it after a shower, on damp skin, over the belly, hips and thighs.

What's in it?

Three organic oils: coconut, sunflower and grapeseed. No mineral oil and no added fragrance. Don't use it if you're allergic or sensitive to any of these oils.

Can I use the same jar on my baby later?

Yes. Coconut Baby is the same jar many parents use on their baby's dry skin and scalp. See our dry baby skin routine.

Why is my oil solid, or melted?

Store it at room temperature. Coconut Baby is firmer in a cool room and softer when warm. Both are normal, and it's the same oil either way.

Coconut Baby is an everyday moisturizer, not a medicine.
